Healthcare professionals in Daly City face a real scheduling problem. Hospitals like AHMC Seton Medical Center (1900 Sullivan Ave) and Kaiser Permanente South San Francisco Medical Center (1200 El Camino Real) run around the clock. Fitting a traditional classroom BLS, ACLS, or PALS course into a rotating shift schedule is harder than it sounds.
Self-Guided Learning™ courses solve that problem. Safety Training Seminars at 333 Gellert Blvd #215, Daly City, CA 94015 offers American Heart Association® BLS, ACLS, and PALS courses in a format built for busy professionals. You complete online cognitive learning on your own schedule, then verify your skills independently at a CPR Verification Station™ learning center—no fixed class time, no group schedule.
Here’s exactly how it works.
Self-Guided Learning™ courses combine two components:
Both components are required. Completing the online portion alone does not result in an American Heart Association Course Completion eCard. Once you finish both successfully, you receive your American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, or PALS Provider eCard—the same card accepted by hospitals, clinics, and employers nationwide.
The specific course format offered through authorized distributors like Safety Training Seminars is the HeartCode® Complete course.*
HeartCode® is a trademark of the American Heart Association.
The online portion uses True Adaptive™ learning powered by Area9 Lyceum. This technology continuously evaluates your knowledge and confidence in real time, then adjusts the content path to match your level.
In practical terms:
The course includes interactive patient care scenarios, scenario and algorithm-based content, and immediate, targeted feedback. It works on desktop, laptop, and tablet, with mobile responsive design for added flexibility.
You can pause, resume, and review content anytime. This matters when you’re completing training between overnight shifts or during a lunch break at Seton Medical Center.
After completing online cognitive learning, you move to the hands-on component. Skills are completed independently at a CPR Verification Station™ learning center—there is no live instructor present during this session.
The CPR Verification Station learning center provides:
This level of precision exceeds what traditional instructor observation can reliably deliver. The system measures your performance against defined AHA criteria. If you don’t pass, you repeat the required skills activity until you achieve a passing score.
There is no 100% pass rate guarantee—the CPR Verification Station learning center measures actual performance. That’s what makes the eCard meaningful.
Daly City sits between San Francisco and the broader San Mateo County healthcare corridor. Professionals working at AHMC Seton Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente South San Francisco Medical Center (1200 El Camino Real, South San Francisco), and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital & Trauma Center (1001 Potrero Ave, San Francisco) all have access to the Safety Training Seminars Daly City location.
The facility at 333 Gellert Blvd #215 is accessible via I-280, Gellert Blvd, Westborough Blvd, and Junipero Serra Blvd. Free parking is available on site. Public transit stops are nearby. The location operates Monday through Sunday, 8 AM to 10 PM—before shifts, after shifts, and on weekends.
Self-Guided Learning courses work specifically well for:
Safety Training Seminars Daly City offers the following American Heart Association courses for healthcare professionals:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
All three courses result in an American Heart Association Course Completion eCard valid for two years. Safety Training Seminars also offers a Low Price Guarantee—if you find a lower price for an identical AHA course, they will match or beat it.
Getting from enrollment to your American Heart Association eCard takes five steps:
The Self-Guided Learning course model is frequently confused with other AHA training formats. To be clear about what this is not:
If your employer requires an AHA BLS, ACLS, or PALS Provider eCard for employment, clinical rotations, or licensure, the HeartCode® Complete course through Self-Guided Learning meets those requirements.
Safety Training Seminars has operated since 1989 as an American Heart Association Training Center (#20784). The Daly City location serves healthcare professionals across San Francisco, San Mateo County, and the surrounding Bay Area with daily availability, same-day eCards, and the flexibility that shift workers actually need.
Call (650) 825-4700, email office@safetytrainingseminars.com, or visit 333 Gellert Blvd #215, Daly City, CA 94015 to enroll. The facility is open Monday through Sunday, 8 AM to 10 PM.

EXCELLENT Based on 435 reviews Posted on RosemarieTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I attended multiple AHA classes from different businesses and my experience with Safety Training Seminars was best. Modules are all comprehensive with ability to get them done on your own time. Daly City facility had free parking, room and equipments clean, well maintained. I asked to be rescheduled last minute and I was accomodated within 3 hours of request online. Looking forward to renew with them next time.Posted on Genica O.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Easily accessible location, provided all details necessary beforehand. My infant mannequin did not demonstrate chest rise which was kind of frustrating, and my system froze on me and I had to redo a portion.Posted on Elmer STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Definitely recommended to all my fellow Health providers …5 StarsPosted on Aaron LandinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Good, however the infant mannequin had a hole in it, so ventilation was a little difficultPosted on oneida cTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Daly City clinic is a clean & quiet space. I love all the posted detailed instructions to get here. Remember to log in ahead of time & complete all the video coursework before going in. The skills testing should take about 30-60 minutes. Otherwise, you’ll be spending 2-3 hours to complete everything.Posted on Jordan GunterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Easy environment to learn in. Nice, quiet, judgement free zone where you can take your time and really practice the skills needed for BLS CPR!Posted on andrew ongTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Facility was as described in the videos. Very helpful and easy to follow. Easy to find parking and access to the room. I would highly recommend this program to those who need to get their BLS cert.Posted on Gabriela HernandezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was initially hesitant to do the online/VAM course, but am so glad I did it! This location is perfect! It's located on the second floor of the building. The emailed directions for how to enter the building and site was very straightforward. This particular location has two rooms with 3 stations total. The space is very clean - it provides hand sanitizer, gloves, and cleaning supplies. There are also bathroom keys on the right side of the wall as soon as you enter. Overall, it was a great experience and I plan to renew here again in two years!
